How do I book and how far in advance do I need to book?You can fill out the "Contact" form below or call 1 418-538-2865 between 9 a.m. and noon and 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. starting April 3, 2023. Reservations for the next season will begin on April 3th and the season will extend from June 5th to October 7th, 2023. Since the Côte-Nord has grown in popularity over the past two years, it is very important to book as soon as possible. Reservations are strongly recommended.

What are your payment terms?On site: Cash, debit or credit. By phone: Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express).

What happens in case of bad weather?We leave rain or shine! If weather conditions are making it impossible to navigate safely, we will offer a full refund (except for the $3 reservation fee) or a modification of reservation.

What happens if I have to cancel my reservation?NO REFUNDS WILL BE ACCEPTED WITHIN 24 HOURS BEFORE DEPARTURE. Cancellation fees correspond to 100% of the deposit received. A fee of $20 per adult applies for any modification made less than 24 hours before departure. Departure on a cruise is conditional on the seaworthiness of the ship due to extreme temperatures as well as mechanical breakdowns that may occur. If one of the portions of the service is canceled by Services Maritimes Boréale or one of its partners less than 24 hours before departure due to a case of force majeure, because the performance of the activity or service would be rendered unsafe, illegal or impossible, Services Maritimes Boréale will reimburse the customers affected by this cancellation accordingly. In the event that navigation is not possible, we will offer each customer a full refund or a reservation modification (upon availability only). Services Maritimes Boréale assumes no responsibility for delays caused by inconveniences beyond its control (eg roadside checks, construction, accident, etc.). Please note that the cruise will not be refunded if you do not show up.

How should I dress?We leave rain or shine (except in case of forces majeures). Passengers of our pneumatic boats Capitaine Yockell and Marsouin III (camping or hiking departures) may borrow a Mustang Survival floating vest. The vests are not necessary for the passengers of our closed boat Le Calculot and Le Perroquet de Mer. You must dress warmly. It is always colder and windier at sea! Our recommendations: - Windcoat - Closed, comfortable shoes - Backpack (water bottle, snacks, spare clothes, etc.) - You're leaving for more than 4 hours? Don't forget your lunch! 😉 There are no selling points, either on the islands or on our boats.

Are children welcome?Of course! However, adults remain responsible for the behaviour of their children at all time, both on the ship and at the embarkation and disembarkation.

Are animals allowed?Unfortunately, animals are not allowed in the Mingan Archipelago.
